METRO

LiDAR Portraits is a series of moving point-cloud portraits recorded inside Washington, DC’s Metrorail system. Using LiDAR and photogrammetry, each work captures a commuter in the architectural field of the station—concrete vaults, tile, signage, and platform light—rendered as a shifting body of data. The project frames transit not as background but as a shared civic interior: a place where presence, motion, and public life are continuously negotiated.
